After a career in international marketing in movies, I studied interior design at KLC School of Design, one of London’s most prestigious institutions in the field where I was Highly Commended for the Award for Best Contemporary & Creative Design chosen by LivingEtc.

I’ve lived in Paris, London, Rome, Tokyo and Singapore and worked on projects in Singapore, London and France. I am now based full time in London.

I am inspired by…

… every day beauty. Having spent three years in Japan, I have come to appreciate the tiny details that make a world of difference.

My favourite interior is…

… one that is true to the people using it.

Though I personally like many different styles, from eclectic, to ethnic, French contemporary chic, mid-century modern, vintage industrial, Bohemian, minimalist etc., I think a mix of old and new, with standout pieces, gives depth to a place. And what I thoroughly enjoy is getting to know my clients and creating homes that they truly love and which suit them and their lifestyle.

As a profession, I think we, interior designers, have a great responsibility in trying to minimise our impact on the environment, particularly as fads come and go.  This is something that I really consider in my designs, not only in the types of materials I use, the life cycle of the products but also in the long term use of the place.
